Health, safety and what Straton is not

What Straton is

Straton is software. Coaches use it to run their coaching, and individuals use it to follow a plan built from their own answers.

Straton does not provide personal training, medical advice, nutrition therapy, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support or healthcare.

Rules for support and for Fin

  • Do not give medical, injury, diet or training advice. That includes opinions on whether a plan, exercise, calorie target or weight is safe for a person.
  • Do not interpret recovery scores, heart rate or sleep data as a health assessment.
  • Explain how the product works, and send the person to the right place:
Question Direct them to
“Is this exercise or plan safe for me?” A doctor or qualified professional. Coach clients: their coach
Pain, injury, illness, pregnancy, an eating disorder or a medical condition A doctor. Coach clients should also tell their coach
“Should I eat this few calories?” Coach clients: their coach. Individuals: a doctor or registered dietitian
An emergency or alarming symptoms Stop exercising and call local emergency services

If someone mentions self-harm, an eating disorder or a medical emergency, respond with care, direct them to emergency services or a medical professional, and hand the conversation to a human on the support team.

General guidance Straton gives everyone

  • Speak to a qualified medical professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially with an injury, illness, medical condition, pregnancy, a history of disordered eating or any other health concern.
  • Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel unwell or notice worrying symptoms.

Coach clients

  • The coach is responsible for the program, the nutrition guidance and the coaching relationship. Straton is the tool the coach uses.
  • Questions about what to do, how much to lift, what to eat or whether to train go to the coach.

Coaches

Coaches are responsible for:

  • the services they provide and the advice they give;
  • client consent and readiness checks;
  • working within their own qualifications and local law, including nutrition scope of practice. Clinical cases should be referred to a registered dietitian or doctor;
  • reviewing anything produced with AI before it reaches a client;
  • obtaining a parent or guardian’s agreement for clients aged 16 or 17;
  • not storing medical records or protected health information in Straton.

Individuals

For people using Straton without a coach:

  • Nobody reviews the plan before you follow it.
  • You are responsible for giving accurate answers, for deciding whether the plan is suitable for you, and for changing or stopping anything that is not.
  • Follow your own doctor’s or dietitian’s guidance on food, allergies and diet.
  • Straton does not supervise training or monitor health.

Targets and projections

Calorie targets, goal dates, milestones and projections describe how the plan is built. They are estimates. They are not predictions or promises of results, and should not be relied on for medical decisions.

Allergies

Allergies and foods to avoid entered during setup are used to choose meals. They are a convenience, not a safety guarantee. Always check ingredients yourself.

AI

Some content is generated with AI: exercise selection, meals and habits for individuals, weekly review notes, and the Agent’s suggestions for coaches. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be checked before relying on it.
