Coaches: the Agent and AI credits
The Agent is Straton’s assistant for coaches. It answers questions about your clients and business, and prepares routine actions for you to approve. It is included on every coach plan.
Where it is
- Agent is the first item in the sidebar and the page you land on after signing in.
- The page greets you and shows a briefing such as “3 things need your attention”. Expand it to see each item, act on it, or dismiss it.
- Past conversations are under the conversation history menu. New thread starts a fresh one.

What the Agent can do
Look things up and analyse
- Clients: profiles, notes, workout and nutrition logs, exercise history, streaks, progress photos, metrics and habit adherence.
- Which clients need attention.
- Pending check-ins and intakes.
- Programs, nutrition plans and resources.
- Payments: revenue, failed payments, a client’s payment history, earnings, recent refunds and disputes.
- Packages, products, workspace settings and members.
- How to do things in Straton.
Prepare changes for your approval
- Clients: add notes, update a profile, change status, invite a client, assign a coach, archive a client, approve an application.
- Programs: create programs and workouts, add exercises, assign, reschedule and sync client programs.
- Nutrition: create and assign plans, set a plan active, add foods.
- Habits: create and assign habits.
- Check-ins and intakes: assign, request, schedule and review.
- Resources: share or unshare with a client.
- Business: create or update packages and coupons, invite a team member.
Approvals: nothing changes without you
Any action that changes something stops and waits for you. You can approve it, deny it, or tell the Agent what to change. Nothing is assigned, published, requested or sent to a client until you approve it.
In Settings > Agent, setting Confirmations to Cautious makes the Agent ask for the strongest confirmation on every change.
What the Agent cannot do
- It does not message clients on its own. It writes drafts for you to send.
- It cannot issue refunds or change your payment setup.
- It cannot permanently delete a client.
- It only sees the clients your role lets you see.
- It cannot be given extra permissions through its settings.
- Its output can be incomplete or wrong. Review anything before using it with a client.

Telegram
You can ask the Agent from Telegram.
- Go to Integrations.
- On the Telegram card, click Connect Telegram.
- Telegram opens. Press Start to finish.
It connects your own Telegram account. Changes still need your approval. Disconnect removes the link.
AI credits
The Agent and other AI features use AI credits.
| Plan | Credits per member, per month |
|---|---|
| Starter | 500 |
| Pro | 2,000 |
| Studio | 4,000 |
- Each member has their own allowance. Allowances are not shared between members and do not roll over.
- Allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- Bigger tasks use more credits. A quick question uses a few. Designing a full program or meal plan uses many more.
- Credits are only used when a step finishes successfully. Failed or cancelled work is not charged.
- The ring in the message box shows credits left. Hover it for “used of limit” and the reset date.
Running out
When your allowance is used up, further usage draws on the workspace’s AI balance, a prepaid top-up shared by the whole workspace.
- Top up in Settings > Billing. Packs are $5, $10, $25 and $50, or a custom amount from $5 to $1,000.
- Only the workspace’s billing manager can top up. Others see “Contact the workspace billing manager to top up AI credits.”
- With no allowance and no balance left, requests stop with “Usage limit reached. Top up to continue.” along with the date the allowance resets.
AI credits are not cash and cannot be refunded as cash, transferred or exchanged.
Roles
Owners, admins, lead coaches and coaches can use the Agent. Staff cannot.
Common questions
Does Straton train AI on my clients’ data? No. Straton does not use coach or client content to train AI models.
The Agent says it can’t do something I asked. Either your role doesn’t allow that action, or it is something the Agent never does (see the list above).
Why did an approval card expire? Proposed changes expire if they are left too long, or if the underlying data changed in the meantime. Ask the Agent again.
The Agent isn’t responding. Check the credit ring. If the workspace is view-only because of billing, AI features are paused until billing is restored.
Is there an Automations feature? Not yet. Automations appears in the sidebar marked “Soon”.
