Straton has three coaching services: **Training**, **Nutrition** and **Habits**.
If you only coach one or two of them, hide the others so your client's app shows
only what you offer. Check-ins, intakes, messages, resources and progress are
always on.

## What hiding a service does

For the client, a hidden service disappears from the iOS app: its tab, its card
on Home, and its notifications. The change reaches an open app within seconds.

For you, nothing disappears. You keep the client's Programs, Training, Nutrition
and Habits tabs, with a **Hidden** badge and a banner saying the client doesn't
see it. You can still build and assign while a service is hidden, for example to
prepare a plan before switching it on.

Nothing is deleted. Turning a service back on brings back the client's history
and everything you assigned while it was hidden.

## Changing a client's services

1. Open the client and go to the **Settings** tab.
2. Under **Services**, switch Training, Nutrition and Habits on or off. Each
   change saves straight away.

Owners, admins, lead coaches and the client's assigned coaches can change this.
Turning all three off is allowed: the client keeps check-ins and messages.

## Options under each service

Each service's switch is the master: with it off, the client sees nothing of
that service. The options below only appear, and only matter, while it is on.

When **Nutrition** is on:

| Option | Off means |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Meal plan | The client doesn't see the plan's meals. Their targets still apply |
| Food logging | The client can't log food. They follow the meal plan |
| Calories and macros | The client doesn't see calorie and macro numbers. You still do |

Meal plan and food logging can't both be off. To hide both, switch nutrition off.

When **Training** is on, switch off **Log sets** to let the client follow the
program without logging sets. They see their workouts and a note that no logging
is needed.

## Showing a service on a date

To introduce a service later, for example nutrition from week four:

1. In **Settings > Services**, find the hidden service.
2. Click **Schedule** and pick a date.

It appears in the client's app at the start of that day. You can change the
date or cancel it until then. Switching the service on by hand cancels the
schedule.

## Defaults for new clients

**Settings > Preferences > Default services for new clients** sets what new
clients start with, whether they join through enrollment, buy a package or are
invited. Owners and admins can change it. It never changes existing clients:
use **Apply to existing clients** for that, which asks you to confirm first.

## Packages

In a package's settings, **Services included** is either **Workspace default**
or a set you choose. A new client who buys the package starts with exactly that
set. An existing client who buys it gains its services and keeps the ones they
had: buying a package never hides anything. When a package sets its services,
its public page lists them under "In your app".

## Changing many clients at once

On **Clients**, tick the clients you want, then click **Set services...** in the
bar that appears. The **Services** column shows each client's services, and the
**Services** filter narrows the list to clients who have a service.

## The Operator

The Operator can tell you what a client sees and change it, including the
options under nutrition and training. It asks you to confirm first.

## Common questions

**Does hiding a service stop the client's coaching data from reaching me?**
No. Anything already logged stays visible to you. A client can't log anything
new for a service they can't see.

**Will hiding training make the client look inactive?**
No. Signals about a client going quiet only count services the client can see.
A client without training is judged on the days they log food or habits.

**My client says a tab disappeared.**
Check the client's **Settings > Services**. The tab returns as soon as you turn
the service back on.
